Job Title: Territory Rep Detailing Technician – Contractor

Location: Victoria, BC, Canada

Job Description:

As a Detailing Technician at Fig’s Mobile Detailing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers’ vehicles are maintained and presented at their very best. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality is vital in creating a lasting impression. Remember you only get one first impression. An Employee Agreement and Non-Disclosure Agreement is required to be signed and dated before you begin training and work with our clients.

Responsibilities:

Perform interior and exterior vehicle detailing.
Clean, polish, and wax vehicle exteriors. (Experience Required)
Vacuum (always) shampoo, and steam clean vehicle interiors (if required)
Clean and detail engine compartments. (If necessary or requested by client)
Inspect vehicles for cosmetic and mechanical issues, reporting any concerns to management. (Pre-Detailing Inspection is Mandatory)
Use specialized tools and equipment to ensure precise and thorough detailing.
Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations for waste disposal.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Assist in customer interactions, providing information about services and answering questions. (Must study all services, prices and offer accurate information)
Obtain Insurance and WorkSafeBC. (Will assist upon completion of training)

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail.
Must have a vehicle in strong working condition with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving abstract.
Well groomed and good aesthetic appearance.
Must have a smartphone for Scheduling apps and GPS Navigation.
Previous experience in automotive detailing is preferred but not required.
Ability to learn & work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong COMMUNICATION skills, work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
Willingness to learn and great customer service skills, able to build a report with our current and future clients.
Good physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment and materials.
Obtain Insurance (Will assist upon completion of training)

Pay: $25.00/hr on-site per vehicle or Piece Work (based on experience)

Expected hours: No less than 8-12 hours per week

Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
Weekends only

License/Certification: Driving License (required) & ICBC Driver’s Abstract (British Columbia Driver License Required)

Work Location: Requirement of a Vehicle, On the road (Fully Mobile)
